Lois Jane (Wells) Sully
Lois was the only daughter of Earl and Mary Wells. She married brother Bob’s friend, Harry Sully, in 1946. Moving to Lake Hills (Bellevue) in 1960, they raised Monica, Stephanie and Linda.
She sang of leaving her heart in San Francisco – in reality she gave her heart wherever she went. Lois used her myriad of talents as a room mother, scout leader, PTA board member, kitchen table counselor, garden advisor, gracious hostess and Lions Club supporter. She loved her daughters and was delighted when the family expanded through the addition of sons-in-law and grandchildren.
Lois will be remembered as the helpful “insurance lady” at Pacific Car and Foundry, the smiling sales clerk at Lake Hills Drug, and the friendly volunteer at Bellewood and Auburn Meadows. The last years of her life she shared her laughter, kindness and quiet faith with the staff and volunteers at Bailey-Boushay House in Seattle.
This summer her life will be honored at a celebration by friends and her family: Dennis, Betty, Kyle and Chelsea Stover; Bill, Stephanie, Jeremy, Tiffany, Josh and Alexis Hedrick; and Steve, Lin, Arianna and Quinlin Peters.
