Alice Jo Thompson

Alice Josephine Thompson died peacefully with her family around her Saturday, April 24, 2011. Alice “Jo” was born January 23, 1928 in Missoula, Montana to King and Alice Garlington. She was

the youngest of six children. Jo graduated from Missoula County High School; attended the University of Montana; and she attended Dental Hygiene training in San Francisco. She returned to Missoula to work and be near her family. Jo is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Jack, her children Judi Wilson (Ron), Doug (Shannon), Dan (Mary) and Sue Thompson and six grandchildren. Jo was an active member of the Newport Presbyterian Church and a charter member chapter EY of the PEO sisterhood. Jo & Jack enjoyed trailering, spending time with their family walking and wine tasting. Memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 7th at Newport Presbyterian Church, 4010 120th Ave SE, Bellevue WA 98006. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association through Sunrise of Mercer Island.
