David Dean Lonay, 87, of Bellevue, Washington passed away peacefully on March 15, 2017 at EvergreenHealth Hospice Care. Born in Seattle, David graduated from Roosevelt High School and earned his B.A. and M.B.A. at the University of Washington.

A true entrepreneur, David was industrious and tenacious in all his pursuits. David owned and operated several different companies across a broad range of industries. Most of David’s professional life was spent as President of Teller Training Institute, a successful franchise serving many in the Seattle area and beyond.

David was a charming and charismatic individual who enjoyed connecting with people from all walks of life. Passionate about fine food, wine, music and art, he was an active member in many specialty groups including The Seattle Art Museum and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

David is survived by daughters Linda Lonay, Susan Connolly, Gina Lonay and Sara Thompson along with many wonderful grandchildren and extended family.
