In the November election voters said to cut spending and reduce the run-away deficit. Now we are faced with a potential government shut down because there is not a meeting of the minds in Congress.
If the government shuts down, it is not the Republicans causing it – they are trying to cut spending as the voters demanded.
Democrats seem to be hard of hearing and don’t seem to understand the reality that we are over our heads in spending.
On second thought, maybe a government shut down for a couple of days would be good. If all the bureaucrats had a day off without pay, how many millions would that save in a couple of days?
