Approximately 2,000 attended the Holi Festival in Bellevue this year.
Held at Bellevue Downtown Park, people from all walks of life joined the event, which was meant to celebrate “Holi,” or the festival of colors.
Organized by nonprofit Child Rights and You (CRY), the funds generated from the event will be used to send underserved children in India to school.
During the event, people threw organic color on each other. Bollywood music by DJ RDX blared on as people adorned their shirts with shades of color on a rare sunny Saturday in March.
