Tully’s Coffee evicted from Bellevue location

The eviction stems from unpaid rent totalling $21,285, court documents filed in King County Superior Court show.

Tully’s Coffee has been evicted from its downtown Bellevue location at 10812 Main St. after it failed to pay two months of rent.

An eviction notice from the King County Sheriff’s Office was placed on the former Tully’s on March 23, stemming from unpaid rent totalling $21,285, court documents filed in King County Superior Court show.

Tully’s Coffee has a troubled financial history, including filing for bankruptcy and subsequently being purchased by Global Baristas in 2013. The Puget Sound Business Journal wrote on March 9 that Tully’s Coffee was closing all of its locations due to a lack of coffee and rebranding.

However, the company has additional multiple tax liens against it and owed at least $5 million in federal and state taxes for its Puget Sound locations as of last November, the Puget Sound Business Journal noted.

The Reporter has requested relevant documents from King County and will update this report as more information becomes available.
