Female suspect robs bank with threatening note | Police blotter for March 19-25

The following is a sample from the Bellevue Police Department’s Bellevue Beat Blog.

Sunday, March 25

Auto Theft: After a party at an AirBnB turned into a fight, the suspect stole the victim’s vehicle parked on the 13400 block of Southeast 43rd Place. Further investigation is pending.

Shoplift: A suspect shoplifted items from a store on the 12600 block of Southeast 41st Place before running from the loss prevention officer. The suspect then jumped into a random citizen’s vehicle in order to avoid contact. The suspect was located by police and arrested.

Theft: A subject had previously shoplifted from a store on the 4000 block of Factoria Boulevard Southeast in December 2017. She returned and was recognized by employees. She was contacted and determined to have a misdemeanor warrant out of Redmond. The suspect was arrested and booked.

Warrant Arrest: A suspect was seen on the corner of 120th Ave. Northeast and Northeast 8th St. and it was determined he had a felony warrant out of Seattle. Officer contacted the subject and took him into custody.

Warrant Arrest: A security officer for a bank on the 3700 block of Factoria Boulevard Southeast observed a subject via security camera sleeping in the bank’s vestibule and requested a trespass. Subject was located nearby at McDonalds and taken into custody on local a misdemeanor warrant.

Friday, March 23

Warrant Arrest: Officer stopped a vehicle on the 3500 block of Factoria Boulevard Southeast and the driver had a misdemeanor warrant. The suspect was booked on the warrant.

Domestic Violent Assault: The suspect assaulted his brother on the 15200 block of Northeast 16th Place. Officers forced entry into their unit and a fight ensued. The suspect punched two officers. A Taser was deployed and the suspect bit an Officer and caused a minor injury. The suspect was eventually taken into custody. He was treated by aid, taken to the hospital, then booked into jail for several felony charges. One officer was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

Warrant Arrest: A subject had caused a disturbance at a store on the 10100 block of Northeast 8th St. and refused the leave the property when asked. He was contacted and it was determined he had a misdemeanor warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked.

Theft: Sometime overnight, suspects entered a business lot on the 400 block of 116th Ave. Northeast and stole tires and wheels.

Thursday, March 22

Theft: An officer patrolling the area observed the suspect exit the store. Through investigation the officer determined that the suspect had just stolen several bottles of alcohol and the shopping basket. The suspect also had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was booked into Jail.

Theft: Bike officers responded to a report of a theft that had just occurred on the 300 block of Bellevue Way Northeast. Officers located and detained a possible suspect at the Transit Center. It was determined that he was the theft suspect and had outstanding warrants for his arrest. The suspect was booked into jail.

Bank Robbery: On the 10500 block of Northeast 8th St., a female suspect passed a note to a teller who gave her an undisclosed amount of case. The suspect fled on foot and detectives are investigating.

Mental Issues: An individual was seen on traffic cameras walking in and out of traffic and attempting to stop vehicles with her body on the corner of 148th Ave. and Main St. Officers arrived and the individual failed to comply before they were transported to the hospital.

Harassment: A suspect was heavily intoxicated and causing a disturbance inside a house. The suspect made threats to his roommates and eventually came out and was arrested for harassment.

Wednesday, March 21

Theft/Warrant Arrest: A suspect was caught stealing from the store on the 700 block of Bellevue Way Northeast. She also had a felony warrant out of Seattle PD for Identity Theft. Suspect stated she was six months pregnant and was having complications. Hospital staff determined she was not pregnant and the suspect was booked into jail.

Robbery: A suspect attempted to rob victim with a gun during the sale of electronics on the 14600 block of Southeast Eastgate Way. The suspect left in a vehicle and was not located.

Tuesday, March 20

Warrant Arrest: A suspect was being released from the hospital on the 1100 block of 116th Ave. Northeast before security called to advise he had a warrant. The suspect was arrested for his warrant and booked into jail.

Monday, March 19

Drugs: Security called about five subjects sitting in a vehicle smoking something off of tin foil on the 400 block of Bellevue Way Northeast. Officers arrived and contacted the 5 subjects. One had outstanding warrants and was placed under arrest. A search revealed the suspect had suspected heroin and meth on him. Officers also located burglary tools and arrested a second suspect. Both suspects transported to jail.

Drugs: An officer contacted the subjects exiting a vehicle containing drug paraphernalia. One suspect was arrested for drug paraphernalia. Suspected heroin and meth were recovered. Suspect vehicle was impounded for a search warrant.
