The Seattle International Film Festival will hold two screenings at Eastside locations this spring.

Recognized as one of the top film festivals in North America, the Seattle International Film Festival is the longest, most highly attended film festival in the United States, reaching more than 145,000 annually. The 25-day festival is renowned for its wide-ranging and eclectic programming, presenting over 400 features, short films, and documentaries from over 80 countries each year.

From May 18-31, screenings will be held at Bellevue’s Lincoln Square Cinemark Theatres, 700 Bellevue Way NE. And from May 31-June 3, the Kirkland Performance Center will host screenings. The Kirkland Performance Center is located at 350 Kirkland Ave.

The 44th Seattle International Film Festival’s long-term partnerships with cinema across the metro area is what makes SIFF a festival for the entire community, members of SIFF said.

“Each of our partners plays a huge role in their neighborhood, and we love joining them during SIFF,” SIFF Artistic Director Beth Barrett said in a news release. “From historic movie palaces, masonic temples, and cinematic complexes, we bring the world’s stories to you.”
