Thomas H. Trimble was born in Yakima, Washington on December 6, 1934 and passed away as a resident of Brookdale Senior Living Solutions in Mill Creek, Washington on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.
Tom graduated from Toppenish High School in 1953 and Washington State College (now University) in 1957 at which time he was commissioned as a 2nd. Lieutenant….spent six months active duty and served eight years in the reserve and discharged in the late 60’s as an Army Infantry Captain.
Most of his working career was spent, 31 years with Farmer’s Insurance Group in Washington and California. He retired July 1, 1994….had two professional designations, CLU, Chartered Life Underwriter and FLMI, Fellow Life Management Institute.
He enjoyed playing in many tennis tournaments in Washington and California. He also played golf, but not competitively. Hunting pheasants and ducks in Eastern Washington was also a favorite leisure activity. He attended church at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue, Washington and is a past member of the Bellevue Athletic Club.
He was a single man at death and is survived by his closest family members Marilyn Bolingbroke of Rancho Santa Fe, California and Douglas Storaasli of Manson, Washington, Barbara Loomis of Kirkland, Washington, Karen Fisher of Lynden, Washington and Susan Brant of Tacoma, Washington along with many 2nd and 3rd cousins following.

A memorial service to celebrate Tom’s life is scheduled to take place at his last place of residence, Brookdale Senior Living, 14905 Bothell Everett Hwy, Mill Creek, WA 98012 on Monday, June 25th at 2:00 PM in the afternoon. Valley Hills Funeral Home, Zillah is handling arrangements.
