AtWork! and USArchive signed an agreement September 9 to create a for-profit/non-profit partnership “USArchive, Powered By AtWork!” which will provide document management services to government and private firms who need digitized records and document destruction.
“In signing the agreement,” Chris Brandt, AtWork! CEO said, “We have agreed to work together with USArchive to create jobs for people with disabilities.”
Mick Plath, President of USArchive said his company is very excited for the future of this new venture.
“We saw the need and value of hiring people with disabilities while training them in today’s more technical imaging services, he said.
USArchive is a full-service document management company with extensive experience serving government, nonprofit, educational and corporate clients nationwide. The veteran-owned business, headquartered in Redmond, began in 2003 as a “traditional” document management company – storing client’s physical records, and converting microfilm and paper documents into electronic images.
The business has added a wide variety of services including traditional document management, consulting and integration, industry teaching and training (through Imagine University), and sales of document management software and hardware.
AtWork!, located in Bellevue and Issaquah, serves clients throughout King County. It is dedicated to creating meaningful skill-building opportunities for people with disabilities.
