March 25

Gunshot: At 11:10 p.m. in the 1300 block of 139th Avenue Southeast, security reported a car prowl, after finding a vehicle with a shattered rear window. Upon further investigation it turned out the window was shattered by a gunshot. A report was taken.

March 26

Theft: At 12:42 p.m. in the 600 block of Bellevue Way Northeast, a suspect stole more than $100 worth of clothing from the store and was booked into jail.

Fraud: At 4:57 p.m. in the 15600 block of Northeast 8th Street, a suspect used a fake ID to impersonate another person, and they withdrew money from their account. The suspect was located by officers as she fled in a car. The suspect was arrested and booked.

Attempted burglary: At 10:44 a.m. in the 15000 block of Southeast 43rd Place, two suspects continually knocked on the front door of a residence but the homeowner was afraid and did not answer the door. The suspects then tried kicking in the front door. The victim activated the home alarm and the suspects ran. They were not located.

March 27

Expensive coat: At 2:20 p.m. in the 11100 block of Northeast 8th street, a suspect stole a coat valued at $750 from a store. They ran but motorcycle officers were able to locate the suspect in a parking garage in the 700 block of 112th Avenue Northeast. The suspect was booked into jail.

March 28

Assault: At 6:55 p.m. at 148th Avenue Northeast and Main Street, a victim reported that he was assaulted by three suspects who later fled in a vehicle. The suspect vehicle was located, but the suspect had fled the car. All three were later located by police. One suspect had numerous warrants for theft from REI the day before. A second suspect was arrested for a warrant and third suspect had four warrants including one for a Bellevue theft. The three suspects were booked into jail.

March 29

Lock your doors: At 4:50 p.m. in the 13800 block of Southeast Eastgate Way, a victim left her vehicle unlocked to retrieve her daughter from school. The victim returned to find that her purse was stolen, including her credit cards. Someone used them to make $7,000 in fraudulent charges. A report was taken.

Pants stolen: At 7:15 p.m. in the 600 block of Bellevue Way, Northeast, a suspect entered the store and stole five pairs of pants. They are valued at $247 in total. The suspect left the store and was detained by loss prevention. The responding officer arrested the suspect for theft and booked him into jail.

March 30

Defending the van: At 10:06 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast, a victim contacted police after he caught a subject attempting to steal his father’s van. The victim had a physical altercation with the subject, and was assisted by a passing cyclist in subduing the suspect until police arrived. The suspect was apprehended by police. No civilian was injured. The subject was arrested and booked into jail for motor vehicle theft.

Drugs: At 5:14 p.m. in the 10800 block of Northeast 10th Street, callers reported that a woman was sitting on a bench on the sidewalk in front of the library and exposing herself. Officers arrived to find the suspect injecting her thigh with suspected heroin. The suspect was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and stolen clothing. She had a warrant for her arrest from Seattle and was booked into jail.

Street theft: At 9:53 p.m. in the 300 block of Bellevue Way Northeast, a robbery took place on the street. A victim was walking when two suspects pushed the victim and snatched her purse from her arm. The suspects then fled in a car waiting nearby.
