Disturbance: At 11 a.m. in the 14400 block of Northeast 35th Street, three people had been threatening each other over social media. Then while playing basketball, a fight broke out between two people. The fight resulted in minor injuries to both people.

Upset over stolen car: At 5:18 p.m. in the 600 block of 116th Avenue Northeast, a victim left his keys in his truck as he ran inside a store for 10 minutes. While inside, someone stole his truck. Later that night, the victim called the Federal Way Police Department and reported his credit card was being used at a store there. The victim went to the store himself, found his truck and a male and female suspect. An argument broke out in the parking lot. The subjects were detained for possession of the stolen truck and the man arrested.

Voyeurism: At 5:32 p.m. in the 700 block of Bellevue Way Northeast, an employee located a small camera mounted underneath the sink and aimed at the toilet in the small, single person, employee restroom. It’s not known how long the camera’s been there. There is no suspect information.

Sex offense: At 8:49 p.m. in the 14200 block of Southeast Eastgate Way, the victim met a male on the bus commuting from Seattle to Bellevue. They talked while walking after exiting the bus. The woman then felt the man grab her from behind and pushed against her. She turned and said that he quickly secured his pants and ran away.

July 10

Domestic disturbance: At 12:01 a.m. in the 11000 block of Southeast 25th Street, a man reported that his girlfriend broke his property, struck him and made a comment about killing him, during an altercation. He called the police because he was concerned about her welfare.

July 12

Whoo hoo: At 3:25 p.m. in the 800 block of 116th Avenue Northeast, officers saw a subject in a store and discovered he had a misdemeanor warrant for Assault 4 and another Bothell Warrant. One officer attempted to stop the man, but he ran. After about 30 yards, the suspect turned around and yelled “Come on guys — whoo hoo” and took a fighting stance. He resisted arrest. The suspect was tased.

Mom and son: At 8:12 p.m. at Factoria Boulevard and Southeast Coal Creek Parkway Southeast, a mother and son on their evening had their cell phones stolen by two young males. The suspects were picked up by a mid 2000s silver car, with no plates. It was driven by an adult female.

July 14

Robbery is actually assault: At 9:14 p.m. in the 2600 block of 148th Avenue Southeast, officers responded to an in-progress robbery call. The investigating officer determined no robbery had actually occurred. But an assault may have. The officer found that a suspected solicitation for prostitution might have transpired leading up to the assault. The assault suspect was not found.
