The Rosalie Whyel Museum of Doll Art will throw a party on Sept. 18 to celebrate its 18th year.
The event will include door prizes, birthday cake, party room activities for children, a special family admission rate, and sales in both of their stores.
The museum opened in September 1992 with a wide-range of dolls and toys, antique and new. Eighteen years later the collection has grown to include dolls from 1680 to the present day with a range of exhibits showing the artistry of many doll makers from countries all over the world.
Also, in celebration of the museum’s 18th anniversary, Rosalie is asking the public which exhibited doll is the their favorite. Anyone can call, write, e-mail, or stop by to vote. Voting ends Friday, Sept. 24 at 5 p.m.
Anniversary festivities begin at the museum at 10 a.m. and at Rosie’s Too at 11 a.m. The sale extends through Friday, Sept. 24 at both locations.
The museum is located at 1116 108th Ave. NE, Bellevue.
Rosie’s Too is located at 221 106th Ave. NE, Bellevue.
