Two people died following a domestic disturbance in the 15500 block of Northeast 22nd Place just before 11:30 pm Monday, June 1.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing where the suspect was believed to still be at the scene.
When officers arrived, they found two victims, a 57-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman, with critical injuries. The 30-year-old suspect was inside the residence, also with serious injuries.
The suspect is believed to be the victims’ son, and he was taken into custody. As of June 2, detectives believe his parents had traveled from Texas to visit their son in Bellevue.
Officers attempted life-saving measures, and the two victims were transported to the hospital. They succumbed to their injuries.
The suspect was arrested and is in police custody. The investigation is ongoing.
