Better to love than hate

I don’t like the majority of the decisions, beliefs or policies of George Bush. In fact, I think there is sufficient cause to try him for crimes.

I don’t like the majority of the decisions, beliefs or policies of George Bush. In fact, I think there is sufficient cause to try him for crimes.

Sometimes I feel very angry toward him, and it’s tempting to let these emotions turn into hate, especially when commiserating with others who don’t like him.

Walter Backstrom’s Nov. 22 column reminds me that forgiveness leads us away from hate and towards love, which is a path I prefer to follow. I may not like his or her actions, but I can still love the person.

Thanks to Backstrom for sharing his thoughts.
