Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic sets annual forum in Bellevue

Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic will hold its annual forum March 2 at the Bellevue Regional Library.

Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic will hold its annual forum March 2 at the Bellevue Regional Library.

The forum is an opportunity for college-bound girls and their parents to learn everything they would like to know about sorority and campus life. Speakers will include current University of Washington sorority members and alums who have benefited from sorority networking in their post-college years and a UW house director.

For over 50 years Overlake Panhellenic has awarded scholarships to qualified Eastside high school senior girls who plan to attend four-year colleges or universities. Winners are encouraged to consider sorority membership, but are not required to join.

Last year 11 girls of the high schools on the Eastside received OAPH scholarships. Applications for scholarship as well as Greek Weekend will be available at the forum.

The event, which is free, will be at 7 p.m. The library is located at 1111 110th Ave. NE.
