Children sought for church choir program

The children’s choir program at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue is accepting registrations for new singers for the 2008-2009 Season.  The program includes four choir levels encompassing grades K-12 each led by an experienced professional children’s music specialist.

The children’s choir program at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue is accepting registrations for new singers for the 2008-2009 Season.  The program includes four choir levels encompassing grades K-12 each led by an experienced professional children’s music specialist. 

Two choirs currently have openings: Good News Group (grades 4-7) and JoySong (grades 2-3).  The Good News Group has recorded and toured and this year will participate in the Fort Worden Children’s Choir Festival, a two-day event which brings together more than 200 singers annually in Port Townsend on Memorial Day weekend. 

Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 4:45-5:45 p.m. beginning Sept. 3.  Participation in the choral program is free. Registration is available online at: www.fpcbellevue.org.
