Former Bellevue High School standout E.J. Savannah won’t be part of the University of Washington football team for the near future.
The Huskies’ leading tackler last season, has been declared academically ineligible.
Savannah also has been sidelined by a broken arm. UW coach Tyrone Willingham called Savannah’s absence “indefinite.”
Savannah was a standout at Bellevue High School and had made a mark at the UW with 111 tackles last season.
