Bellevue High School will open its doors for an evening of celebration on May 1 at the newly rebuilt high school and Performing Arts Center.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with school tours, student exhibits, and a Lion Dance ceremony. Students from across the school district will perform in a concert that features a new concert grand piano.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. with piano soloists from BHS, Chinook Middle School, and Enatai, Woodridge, Clyde Hill and Medina elementary schools.
At 7:30 p.m., Bellevue High School Music Department ensembles take the stage with performances by Jazz Ensemble I, Bellairs, Chorale, Sinfonia, and Wind Ensemble.
The event is free and open to all.
