‘Puff Before You Stuff’ Jazzercise event to collect food for Hopelink

Puffing before stuffing returns to Bellevue on Thanksgiving Day as members of a Jazzercise class collect food for Hopelink.

Kris Rooke’s “Puff Before You Stuff” will be held at 9 a.m. at the North Bellevue Community Center, 4063 148th Ave. NE. This will be the seventh year that dedicated Jazzercisers have shown up on Thanksgiving Day morning.

Each participant may attend the Puff before you Stuff Jazzercise class for free with a donation of two food items which will be offered to Hopelink Food Donations of Puget Sound, in efforts to help fill Christmas Food Baskets.

Highlights of the Jazzercise benefit include a class team-taught by two local Jazzercise veteran instructors, Rooke and Kathy Bradshaw, as well as door prize drawing for all in attendance to participate.

“The event is open to the public and we encourage both Jazzercisers and non-Jazzercisers to participate,” said Rooke. “We really enjoy offering a Thanksgiving Day class as a way to give thanks to what we have an abundance of, energy and compassion.”
