Bellevue finished in fourth place with 171 points at the Class 3A state meet, held Friday and Saturday at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.

The Wolverines highest finishers were Erin Maclean, who took third in the 100 fly in 59.09 and eighth in the 100 backstroke, and Rachel Schneider, who placed third in the 500 free in 5:07.58. Schneider also finished fifth in the 200.

The Wolverines 200 yard medley team (Christine Melby, Maclean, Kelly Holton and Catelyn Webber) finished in seventh place, while the 200 yard free relay team (Webber, Melanie Notari, Makena Sutich and Schneider) took eighth. Bellevue’s 400 yard freestyle team, composed of Maclean, Notari, Melby and Schneider, placed fourth. Emily Lopez placed eighth in the diving.

Bryanna Moore of Sammamish High School placed eighth in the 100 yard freestyle in 55.44. She was the only Totem to make a finals race at the meet.

Newport finished in ninth place with 100 points at the Class 4A state meet, also held Friday and Saturday at the same venue.

Newport’s 200 yard medley team (Jordan Lee, Caroline Van Maren, Monique Saysana and Robyn Thompson) took seventh in 1:54.50 and the Knights 200 yard freestyle relay team (Haley Anderson, Lee, Sara Simpson and Van Maren) took fifth in 1:42.06.

Anderson finished eighth in the 200 yard freestyle (1:55.72) and sixth in the 100 yard freestyle (53.79)

Interlake took 12th with 14 points in the Class 2A meet. The Saints 200 yard medley team (Maddie Hagen, Vivian Hisao, Andrea Price and Larissa Nakatsu) finished in sixth place. Hagen took fifth in the 100 backstroke in 1:06.3 and seventh in the 200 yard IM in 2:23.93, while Price finished seventh in the 100 yard butterfly in 1:05.68.
