County Executive Dow Constantine and King County Councilmember Jane Hague will join local elected officials and housing developers in a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday for Metro Transit’s new South Kirkland Park-and-Ride garage.

Work also is underway on a mixed-use housing development next door on the site, which includes both affordable and market rate housing components just steps away from this major transit hub.

The ceremony will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 17 at the Park-and-Ride facility, 3677 108th Ave. NE, Bellevue.
