Pakistani church leader to speak in Bellevue

Bishop Mano Rumalshah, bishop emeritus of the Diocese of Peshawar in the church of Pakistan, will speak at Newport Presbyterian Church at the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services Sunday. His presentations will focus on peacemaking in Pakistan.

Bishop Mano Rumalshah, bishop emeritus of the Diocese of Peshawar in the church of Pakistan, will speak at Newport Presbyterian Church at the 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services Sunday. His presentations will focus on peacemaking in Pakistan.

Mano has engaged in ministry in England and in Pakistan. He is experienced in developing interfaith relationships and in cross-cultural communications.

He also is part of the International Peacemakers program through which individuals who are engaged in peacemaking in their own countries are invited by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to visit with Presbyterians in the United States to help us understand the peace and justice concerns of others around the world.
