The city of Newcastle will celebrate Newcastle Days on September 10 and 11.

On Friday, September 10, from 3-7 p.m., a “downtown kickoff” event will include merchant sidewalk sales, a band and drawings for prizes. Other special events are also being planned.

On Saturday, September 11, Valley Medical Center will sponsor the Newcastle Days festival at Lake Boren Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. This annual celebration includes music, food, entertainment and fun.

Volunteers are arranging bands, musical performers, pony rides, face painting, bouncy houses, informational/educational booths, food vendors and more.
