The Totems got a team high 14 points from Robert Ambartsumyan and 11 more from John Steinberg in the win over the Patriots.
Sammamish built a 21 point lead at the break and will face top seeded Lake Washington tonight in the second round of the tournament at 6:30 p.m. at Bellevue College.
