Following a lengthy investigation by the Eastside Narcotics Task Force, two people were arrested at an apartment in the Renton Highlands on Friday, where five ounces of heroin and an ounce of methamphetamine valued together at $15,000 were recovered.
A man and woman, both 24, arrested at the apartment were allegedly selling the heroin out of the apartment, according to a Bellevue Police news release. They have not yet been charged.
“I am very proud of the hard work of the Detectives on this case,” said Bellevue Police Chief Steve Mylett in a statement. “The Eastside Narcotics Task Force is committed to removing Heroin and other dangerous narcotics from our streets and dismantling the drug trade in the Pacific Northwest.”
