Two Bellevue firms have been honored by the Utility Contractors Association of Washington. They are Parker, Smith & Feek, and H.D. Fowler Company.

Parker, Smith & Feek, a northwest insurance broker and UCAW member since 1995, received its award for continued, extensive support of UCAW and its advocacy for utility contractors within the construction industry.

H.D. Fowler Company, distributor of waterworks, irrigation, pumps and wastewater treatment equipment, was recognized for being a valuable, 30-year member of UCAW.

The Bellevue Home Show has named Christopher Bendt, assistant show manager for Sound Marketing, to handle Bellevue Home Show marketing and Rosanne Cohn as Public Relations Director.

Bendt has been with the Home Show for more than six years, working in several capacities. Cohn was the public relations director for the Bellevue Home Show when it opened at the Red Lion Inn in Bellevue 26 years ago.

Hugh Miller has recently joined Realty Executives Evergreen at 12600 SE 38th St., Suite 237.

Miller has worked in the real estate industry since 1998. He spent 20 years in professional sports. He appeared many times on ABC Sports Saturday afternoon “Professional Bowlers Tour,” competing in 500 events nationally and internationally, and took home the first place check seven times.
