Interlake remains undefeated

In 2013 the Interlake Saints won just one game all season. Just two games into the 2014 campaign, they have already surpassed last year’s record. Interlake (2-0) picked up their second win of the 2014 season with a 24-8 victory against the Ingraham Rams on Sept. 12 in Bellevue. Interlake will try to keep its undefeated streak alive at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 against the Liberty Patriots in Renton.

Wolverines pitch shutout against Alta

The Bellevue Wolverines (2-0) turned in a dominating 45-0 victory in their home opener against the Alta Hawks on Sept. 13 in Bellevue. It was the 56th consecutive victory for the Bellevue football program. The Wolverines will host Mercer Island at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 in Bellevue.

Sammamish smashes Foster in non-league contest

New Sammamish Totems head football coach Todd Craig experienced his first victory with his new team as the Totems (1-1) defeated the Foster Bulldogs 40-20 on Sept. 12 in Bellevue. The Totems will face the Shorecrest Scots at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 in Seattle.

Vikings fall in home opener

The Port Townsend Redhawks registered a convincing 48-7 victory against the Bellevue Christian Vikings (0-2 overall) on Sept. 12 in Bellevue. Bellevue Christian will strive to get its first victory of the 2014 season against the LaConner Braves at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 in LaConner.
