An unimaginative bank robber has hit the same bank four times since January.
The most recent robbery was June 12th shortly after 10 a.m. He walked into the bank (as he always does), then passed a note to the teller demanding money (as he always does). He was handed the money (as usual) and he walked out of the bank (as usual). No car was seen (as usual).
The bank is Chase Bank at 14400 124th Ave. NE in the Kingsgate area, north of Kirkland.
Detectives believe the same man robbed the same branch on Jan. 12, March 3, and May 22 of this year.
He is described as a white male in his mid-20s, thin to medium build, about 5’ 10” tall, and light-colored facial hair compared to his head hair. On June 12 he wore a red, short-sleeve T-shirt and sunglasses.
The robber now has a buzz-cut. In earlier robberies he had more hair.
Detectives have not found any other bank robberies attributable to this suspect.
If anyone recognizes this robber they are asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206.296.3311 (24 hours) or 9-1-1.
