A burglary occurred in the 2400 block of 79th Avenue of Medina about noon on July 3. The suspect(s) entered the home by breaking a side window by the front door. Jewelry and other items were taken.

The residents were not home at the time of the burglary but their alarm system was armed and Medina Police responded immediately to the residence.

It is the second burglary in the last month where a window was broken out to gain access through the front door.
