The Rockefeller Group is targeting a gold standard for energy and environmental design with its 20-story office tower anticipated to be completed by mid-2017 in downtown Bellevue.

A joint venture with the Sterling Realty Organization, the Rockefeller Bellevue Tower is proposed to be 895,000 square feet, including underground parking, and constructed on a 1.46-acre parcel at the southeast corner of Northeast Eighth Street and 106th Avenue Northeast.

According to an optional determination of non-significance filed with the city of Bellevue, the tower will include high-performance glazing and mechanical systems anticipated to earn a gold rating for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

The 300-foot tower will include 10,500 square feet of retail and 510,000 square feet of office space with underground parking access from Northeast Eighth and 106th Avenue Northeast. Two office and retail buildings currently on the site will need to be demolished.
