Bellevue Nursery has been named a Natural Yard Care Nurseries as one dedicated to selling safe, natural lawn and gardening products.

The nursery, and 23 other retail nurseries located throughout King County, strive to prevent the use of hazardous pesticides and chemicals by offering less toxic solutions.

Retail nurseries and garden centers qualify by:

Carrying products for natural yard care such as natural fertilizers, less toxic pest and weed control products and smart watering tools;

Informing and advising customers about natural yard care;

Offering staff training on natural yard care; and

Practicing low-toxicity pest management in their nursery.
