New outdoor exercise equipment will soon be available for use by parents when their children play right next door in a playground area at King County’s Marymoor Park.

The equipment consists of five pieces designed to help strengthen arms, legs, core, and aerobic function. The outdoor gym pieces face new playground equipment designed for toddlers.

A dedication ceremony for the new exercise equipment at Marymoor is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., adjacent the playground next to the Parking Lot K. Marymoor is located at 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy. N.E., Redmond

In addition to a ribbon-cutting ceremony, there will be free activities for the family, including demonstrations on the equipment, guided fitness classes and healthy snacks.
