Isabella Gomez is thriving in the world of snowboarding

Tillicum Middle School student Isabella Gomez was awarded a Travel & Training Fund grant by the Women’s Sports Foundation to pursue national level snowboarding competitions. Gomez was selected as one of the 33 grant recipients across individual and team sports for female athletes in the United States. Gomez partakes in six different styles of snowboarding consisting of Giant Slalom

Gomez captured first place at the United States of America Snowboarding Association Nationals tournament in Copper Mountain, Colorado earlier this year.
