Design review approval and building permits are in for a new 15 story hotel with 378 rooms, guest space, meeting space, a restaurant and parking in downtown Bellevue, according to Toni Pratt, a senior land use planner for the City of Bellevue.

Design review approval and building permits are in for a new 15 story hotel with 378 rooms, guest space, meeting space, a restaurant and parking in downtown Bellevue, according to Toni Pratt, a senior land use planner for the City of Bellevue.

A Marriott Hotel with 376 rooms, 7,500 square feet of restaurant space and 440 parking stalls at 200 110th Avenue NE was listed a “major project” for downtown Bellevue on a list of projects the city was slated to review during the third quarter of 2012.

The project has changed hands and undergone quite a few revisions since it was first proposed, Pratt said, some of which was because of local light rail plans. “They are affected by (light rail),” she said, adding that she wasn’t a part of those negotiations.
