Bellevue officials greet trade group from Dalian, China

Bellevue city officials welcomed a trade delegation from Dalian, China this week to discuss international trade and economic development issues of mutual interest.

 

Bellevue city officials welcomed a trade delegation from Dalian, China this week to discuss international trade and economic development issues of mutual interest.

At a luncheon meeting Wednesday, private- and public-sector officials discussed business opportunities and celebrated a trade and economic development relationship between the two cities. The event was hosted by the City of Bellevue and sponsored by Microsoft and Mulvanny G2 Architecture.

Bellevue Mayor Don Davidson, Deputy Mayor Conrad Lee, Councilman John Chelminiak and Councilman Kevin Wallace attended the event. Also on hand were representatives of Bellevue-based Paccar Inc. and Kemper Development, along with Bellevue College.

Dalian is a port city in northeast China with a population of about 6 million. An important industrial center, it’s also a growing technology hub.
