Bellevue Realtors honored by Seattle King County Realtors

Two Bellevue Realtors, Mary Wan and Michael Orbino, have been honored by the Seattle King County Realtors.

Two Bellevue Realtors have been honored by the Seattle King County Realtors.

Mary Wan, of Prudential Northwest Realty Associations, received the Cultural Awareness Award in recognition of her dedication to diversity programs.

Hundreds of real estate professionals have completed her cross-cultural communication course, “Selling Real Estate in a Multi Cultural World.” She is fluent in Chinese, was born in China, lived in Hong Kong and educated in Canada before moving to the U.S. in 1974. She is a founding board member of the Washington Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) and past president of both the Seattle Chapter of the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women and Greater Seattle Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

Michael Orbino, of John L. Scott Real Estate received the award, “Ones to Watch” for chairing SKCR’s Young Professionals Network in 2010, the year a chapter was first established in Washington state. He is managing broker for John L. Scott’s downtown Bellevue office, a member of the company’s Presidential Advisory Council, and founder of The Orbino Group, a division within JLS that specializes in builder/developer services.
