Cary Kopczynski & Company recently promoted Ron Mirahsani to principal, Andy Tu to senior project engineer, and Jason Thome to senior project engineer. Also, the company has added Angelia Tanamal as design engineer, Angela Wang as BIM modeler, and Stephanie Vincent and Kellie Filips as engineering interns.
Mirahsani has 25 years experience in structural and civil engineering, 13 with CKC. He will assume additional responsibilities for client relations and project team management. He is currently managing 1200 South Figueroa, two 35-story residential towers in Los Angeles; and Golden Nugget, a casino with 20 and 14-story hotel towers in Lake Charles, LA.
Tu has 11 years experience as a professional engineer, seven with CKC. He is currently working on Lincoln Square Expansion, a 2.4-million square foot mixed-use development in Bellevue, which includes a 30-story office tower and 41-story hotel/condominium tower; and the University Village QFC Parking Structure.
Thome has eight years experience as a professional engineer, seven with CKC. He is currently working on Potala, a 440′ residential tower on Fourth Avenue in Seattle; and a 400′ condominium tower for Continental Properties at Second and Virginia in Seattle.
Tanamal has four years experience as a professional engineer and holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley. She is currently working on Potala Tower and 1200 South Figueroa Towers.
Wang has two years experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM). Prior to joining CKC, she worked as a structural engineer in China. She is currently working on Lincoln Square Expansion.
Vincent is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a structural engineering concentration from Washington State University. Filips is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a focus in structural engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
