A Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has opened at 14150 N.E. 20th St. in Bellevue, offering the same slow-smoked meats for which the Dallas-based franchise has been known for more than 72 years.

Daniel Hsu is the local owner of Bellevue’s first Dickey’s, and the barbecue restaurant is continuing a three-day promotion with free merchandise giveaways today and $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches noon to 2 p.m. Saturday with the chance for one customer to received a $500 gift card, good for any Dickey’s location.
