An increasing trend on the East Coast has come to Bellevue and will be officially celebrated this week.

O2 Obadiah Blow Dry Bar will host a grand opening party from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. O2 opened back in November, and is located in Bellevue Place near the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.

Each appointment lasts about 30 to 45 minutes and includes a consultation, a wash and a blow-dry.

“We have made ourselves available for the girls on the go, from the business professional presenting at her board meeting to the last minute date for happy hour, to the group of girls heading out for a night in the town and everything in between,” said O2 spokeswoman Apryl McCarthy.

Friday’s grand opening will feature free cocktails for customers and $35 for service.
