First-quarter losses for InfoSpace Inc. grew to $5 million, or a loss of 14 cents per share, from a loss of $2.8 million, or 8 cents a share, during the same period in 2008.
The Bellevue-based internet search company reported a seven-percent decrease in revenues for the first quarter of 2009 and a one-time $5.4 million charge for unrealized losses on investments.
The company said it expects revenues to be flat or lower for the second quarter.
