On July 6 it was announced that Jennifer Mullin is joining DreamBox Learning, a Bellevue-based K-12 technology provider, as Chief Marketing Officer.
Mullin brings over two decades of marketing leadership experience from a broad range of evolving markets to include e-commerce, entertainment, cybersecurity and education technology for brands like Leapfrog Enterprises, Visa, Evite and Gap.
“Education has always been a passion of mine, and I’m excited to be joining one of the most innovative and mission-driven EdTech companies in the industry,” said Mullin. “Education is at an inflection point, and DreamBox has an important story to tell with its proven ability to drive results in little time, while also providing educators with rich professional development programs and data to customize their instructional strategies.”
Under DreamBox, which serves 6 million students and 400,000 educators across the country, Mullin will lead marketing strategies to include brand management, corporate communication, and marketing operations.
Mullin will also work in close partnership with DreamBox’s executive leadership and sales, product, and customer success teams to connect more school districts with the company’s mathematics and reading solutions.
“I am thrilled to welcome Jennifer Mullin as DreamBox’s first ever Chief Marketing Officer and as an additional female voice on our executive team to guide our strategy,” said Jessie Woolley-Wilson, President and CEO of DreamBox.
Woolley-Wilson mentioned how she’s known Mullin since her first career role in the technology industry, and has valued Mullin’s strong leadership and strategic approaches.
“This is the mindset we need to capture the full market opportunity that lies ahead for DreamBox as the K-12 market continues to shift toward blended learning as a must-have ingredient to student and district success,” said Woolley-Wilson.
