Pat McBride of P.W. McBride Construction and GMS Architectural Group in Bellevue has been elected Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) President for 2011.

McBride served as BIAW Treasurer in 2009 and is a current Master Builders Association and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Board of Director member. He is also a past member of the Washington State Building Code Council.

Both of his companies specialize in high-density housing and mixed-use development.

The MBA also named McBride Associate of the Millennium in 1999 and Associate of the Year three times (1997, 1996 and 1992) in recognition for his contributions to the MBA.
