The Midlakes Post Office facility in Bellevue is officially on the market.
The United States Postal Service has retained CB Richard Ellis to lead the Request for Proposal phase for the facility.
The property is located in at 11405 NE 2nd Place, adjacent to I-405 off the Fourth Avenue exit.
The property consists of an approximately 16,431 SF building which has been used as a carrier operation and a retail post office. The request for proposal stipulates the USPS will require a lease-back of the retail portion of the building for up to two years to allow for a re-location to a new site. The carrier operation will consolidate to another site.
“This is a well-located property with freeway visibility, ample parking and will have close proximity to the planned Fourth Avenue extension corridor” said Bryan Hester, CB Richard Ellis’ brokerage representative. Hester is working with Milt Reimers and Art Wahl of CBRE on marketing the RFP. The deadline to submit proposals is Dec. 4.
