Scott Hardin has joined Cascade Water Alliance as Director of Finance and Administration. He will begin his duties with the regional water planning and supply system August 4.
Hardin most recently served as the finance director for the city of Burien, where he lead, planned, organized and directed that city’s financial operations, fiscal planning, risk management and systems administration. He also served as the city’s chief financial officer.
He also has served as the associate dean for academic affairs at Highline Community College, and was an engineer at shipyards in Virginia and Washington.
He holds a master’s degree in professional accounting from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in applied science from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also studied engineering.
Cascade Water Alliance is a consortium of eight municipalities and water districts that joined together in 1999 to provide water supply for current and future needs. It includes the cities of Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Redmond and Tukwila and the Covington Water District, the Skyway Water and Sewer District and the Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District.
