Derek Snead of Bellevue has been named Chair-Elect for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska, Montana, Northern Idaho, and Washington.

Snead is an in-house corporate attorney at Costco Wholesale. He joined Costco in 1992 and has held a variety of positions ranging from corporate inventory control specialist to an import merchandiser to a licensing specialist to a corporate attorney. He has been a board member of Make-A-Wish since 2007.
