The classic styles of celebrated clothing designer Tory Burch will arrive next September in Bellevue at The Bravern. As the first Tory Burch boutique in the Northwest, the new shop will offer an exclusive collection of ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and jewelry in the signature styles of the classic and modern label. The boutique will encompass 1,400 square feet of space at The Shops at The Bravern, an outside shopping villa located on the corner of the I-405 interchange and Northeast Eighth Street.

The new boutique will join other high-profile designer shops including the recently announced Hermes, Jimmy Choo, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton and a Neiman Marcus department store.

The Tory Burch company has been in talks with Schnitzer West, developer of The Bravern, for more than a year.

“We are very careful about every store we open,” said Brigitte Kleine, president of Tory Burch. “The Shops at The Bravern is clearly a center that understands luxury retailing and has a unique focus on customer service. We are thrilled to be opening our first Northwest Tory Burch there.”

The Tory Burch brand captures the look and feel of a luxury lifestyle defined by a classic American sportswear design. In 2004, clothing designer Tory Burch saw a need for a sophisticated American aesthetic at an attainable price point and created a stylish, yet wearable clothing line and accessories for women of all ages.

Her flagship store in New York City was designed to mirror the comfort of home and the ease of browsing through an intimate environment opposed to a traditional retail store. The Tory Burch boutiques blend a detailed decor of orange lacquered doors, mirrored walls and Lucite fixtures. Celebrity fans who have flocked to the boutique for classic finds, include Cameron Diaz, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Uma Thurman and Hilary Swank.
