Paul Totah has joined Hyatt Regency as as the hotel’s associate director of sales. Totah formerly worked in sales at Hyatt Morristown in New Jersey and a number of Washington, D.C. hotels.

In his role, Totah is responsible for the training, recruitment and mentoring of sales staff, as well as assisting with revenue forecasting, budgeting, advertising, and marketing.

“Paul has a proven track record of assisting with sales revenue growth and establishing quality customer relationships, and was recognized for his efforts through his nomination to ‘Sales Team of the Year’ in 2012,” said Tom Wolf, the general manager at Hyatt Regency Bellevue. “We’re looking forward to the insight and leadership he will bring to our team.”

Totah first started in the industry as a college freshman as a guest services agent, and since then has climbed the ranks through various operations and sales positions, at respected hotel companies across the U.S. In addition to his hospitality background, Totah held roles in tourism and non-profits.  He was drawn to Hyatt Hotels & Resorts by the commitment the organization makes to guests, associates and owners, and the company’s genuine passion for hospitality.
