Two Bellevue auto shops recently earned top awards from AAA Washington for their exemplary work, shop cleanliness and customer service.

The shops, AutoLogic on 132nd Avenue Northeast and Len’s Automotive on 136th Place Northeast, earned AAA Washington’s “Top Shop” Award.

Data is collected from customer satisfaction surveys every year. Typically, AAA Approved Auto Repair shops that receive the “Top Shop” award have close to 100 percent customer satisfaction rates.

To be eligible for the Top Shop award, each shop must meet the precise standards set by AAA. Some of these standards include meeting or exceeding AAA standards regarding equipment and certified technicians, and having an excellent track record of customer satisfaction, guaranteeing service or repairs for 12 months or 12,000 miles, offering a written estimate; if requested in advance, return replaced parts; and obtain approval before doing any work beyond the original estimate.

Standards like these are intended to keep customers on the level with mechanics and garages.
