Verizon Wireless will open its newest “Smart Store” this Friday, May 13, at the Bellevue Quare Mall.

The 5,657-square-foot store will allow customers to interact with new technology, new phones and “Lifestyle Zones” in the well-lit space.

The zones are part of a cusomer experience allowing them to get hands-on with the technology in the store.

The zones include “Get Fit” for sports, “Amplify It” for music, “Power” for gaming, “Home and On the Go” for home monitoring and energy management and “Anywhere Business” for professionals and entrepreneurs.

A release said an example would be to see how a smartphone can be turned into a house key or how sports fans can watch a game through a virtual reality headset.

The store will open to the public at 9:30 a.m. at Bellevue Square Mall, 2084 Bellevue Square.
